LONDON, UK- The Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, Frank Griswold, has received a letter from Rowan Williams the Archbishop of Canterbury telling him to make significant compromises for ECUSA's orthodox, or face the possible of schism without his support.

The letter, which Griswold received on the eve of the Camp Allen meeting of the House of Bishops was described by a Lambeth Palace source as "too hot to leak".

The strongly worded message to Griswold has yet to be read to the House of Bishops, but it is thought that Griswold will drop a paragraph or two during the HOB meeting.

A source told Virtuosity that the letter appears to support what the five retired bishops did in recent confirmations in the Diocese of Ohio.
