Official Figures Show alarming decline in Average Sunday Attendance in TEC

Diocese by diocese figures revealed

Between 1994 and 2001, the Average Sunday Attendance had increased from 828,514 to 858,566, an increase of 3.7%.

But from 2002, the year before the election of homosexual Bishop V.Gene Robinson of New Hampshire, to 2004, the last year for which data was available (the year after the election), church attendance dropped a staggering 5.9%.

The numbers for 2005 and 2006 are likely to show far worse deterioration.
