David W. Virtue is a theologically trained journalist and a pioneer in Internet journalism. He has been a newspaper reporter and editor in New Zealand, Canada and The United States for the Dominion newspaper, The Vancouver PROVINCE and the Virginia Churchman. He has also written for Christianity Today, Touchstone Magazine and The Christian Challenge to name only a few.David studied theology in London, Chicago and Vancouver, and has worked for a number of large non-profit organizations including World Vision International, The American Bible Society and American Leprosy Missions. He has traveled extensively throughout the Two-Thirds World meeting leaders of the Global South and building relationships with bishops and leaders throughout the Anglican church. David's expert reporting, orthodox theological education and large network of contacts has made VirtueOnline the world leader in Anglican news. He is the author of three books on social justice and evangelism: A Flame for Justice, the Life of Caesar Molebatsi of Soweto, South Africa; A Vision of Hope, the Life of Samuel Habib of Egypt. and Good and Right in the Eyes of God, The truth about Homosexuality (co-authored with Dr. Earle Fox) and is presently completing a Memoir on the life of Malcolm Muggeridge. Gary L’Hommedieu is a lifelong Episcopalian with impeccable “liberal” credentials: a graduate of Tufts University and the Episcopal Divinity School in the formative 1970’s, and ordained in 1979 by the late Paul Moore, Jr., of New York. Gary has served in the Dioceses of Connecticut, Albany, and Pennsylvania prior to coming to Central Florida in 2002. While in Pennsylvania he allowed his former credentials to lapse working with David Virtue on a number of start-up projects and serving as Rector of two of the famed “Seven Sisters” parishes. Gary is Canon for Pastoral Care at the Cathedral Church of Saint Luke, Orlando, Florida, and a local rock musician. |
| Rev. Dr. Robert J. Sanders |
The Rev. Dr. Robert J. Sanders serves as Associate Rector at Christ Church Anglican, Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to his service at Christ Church, he was an Associate Rector at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Prior to moving to Florida, he was the rector for twelve years at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Manhattan, Kansas. He has also served in Central America, where he was the Director of Theological Education in the Diocese of Honduras. Originally, his family is from Tennessee, and he did his undergraduate work at The University of the South at Sewanee. He has been a mathematics teacher, a missionary, and he has a Ph.D. in systemic theology. He loves teaching, being with people, prayer ministry, worship, friends and family.
