JERUSALEM: Stepped up security for Gay Pride Parade. GAFCON Leaders Warned

Security is being stepped up in Jerusalem and at the Renaissance Hotel where 1200 pilgrims are gathered for a Global Anglican Future Conference as several thousand homosexual activists are expected to show up for a Gay Pride Parade Day being held here Thursday.
VirtueOnline has learned that several hundred activists are flying in from the US and the UK in a show of strength against the theologically conservative GAFCON pilgrims though there is no official link between the two events. It's an odd coincidence, said a GAFCON leader.
"Tactically it positions them to make a statement in the midst of a global orthodox event that is focusing on the redemption of people including homosexuals," said one North American Anglican bishop.
Gay activists moved the event up from June 21 to June 26 for no apparent reason, but observers believe this was done to embarrass the organizers and pilgrims of GAFCON. "Clearly it is an in your face act because if the appearance of British and American homosexual activists," said a GAFCON spokesperson.
Security has tightened at the hotel, but it is "under control" VOL was told. "If pilgrims see someone who they believe should not be there they are to report it immediately to the hotel management. We don't want anyone causing trouble," said a security agent.
Both Nigerian Archbishop Peter Akinola and Church of England Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali (Rochester) have personal security agents standing feet away from them at all times. Both men can only be approached by invitation only.
Last year the Gay Pride Parade drew 10,000 police who guarded the parade because Orthodox Jews stoned them. Orthodox Jewish leaders have made it clear they do not want such a parade in Jerusalem.

"Gay Pride" - there's a term. Proud of what? Having found creative ways to have sex that nature never intended? Being unrepentant sinners? Planning to spend eternity in hell? Sure sound like stuff to be proud of. Wonder if Vicky and its husband will be there? |

Emboldened at having transgressed God's order, they not only approve what they have done and are doing, they encourage others to join their 'crusade.' Their weapons are those of a depraved, unrepentant mind (oftentimes bright and attuned), a deadly tongue, and a deep sense of offense that cannot be assuaged except by the removal of any opposition. They also have found power in number (small but vocal), the support of a God-less, narcissistic culture, and outrageous public displays that shock and stun. This is their time, it seems; but their master knows that his time is short.
No doubt there are many TEC and Anglican bishops and clergy who would be quite 'righteously' comfortable showing 'solidarity' with these demonstrators. Maybe a side trip to swim in the Dead Sea near the site of Sodom and Gomorrah? |

We should state repeatedly and forcefully that a stable human society requires that the maximum number of people are raised with mothers and fathers. This should be stated aggressively, if need be. Everywhere I look, I see Christians on the defensive.

These tactics have been used for decades now, as well as yelling and literal whistle blowing, while their 'opponents' spoke publicly. This happened recently to shut down a debate in the US. Among other things, these very antics were directly responsible for the American Psychiatric Association act of removing homosexuality as a disorder, from their DSM of mental diseases. I would call everyone to BUSINESS AS USUAL. In reducing this child-like endeavour to what it actually is, the clinically behaviourist term EXTINCTION should be utilized with regards to this crowd. |

That religious movement is currently manifested in the campaign to allow homosexuals to marry. - The huge infiltration of homosexuals in key positions of the “media” to affect editorial policy, news and publicity in favor of homosexual activities that include MILITANT DEMONSTRATIONS SUCH AS NOW BEING PERFORMED IN GAY PRIDE EVENTS. I know God has infinite patience etc... but these people are certainly pushing buttons. God has punished us before and I wouldn't bet that it won't happen again. There is more to God than sunshine and puppies all the time. Knowing they are so close to the site of Sodom and Gomor'rah is almost like they are daring or mocking.
