WORLDWIDE PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS BY MUSLIMS AND HINDUS INTENSIFIES

There is a growing and intensifying attack on Christians around the world.
It is not just confined to the Middle East and Islamic countries.
Christians from Egypt to Iraq, from Pakistan to Nigeria are being attacked and killed by Muslims and Hindus.
For all its vaunted advances in technology, there is a growing hatred and intolerance of Christians by Hindus in India, a country whose laws, civil service, roads and military were established by Christians over a century ago.
Hindu hatred of Christians is growing around the country and you can witness this in the state of Orissa.
In India, where these videos were shot, you can see Hindus attacking and killing Christians with clubs while the Police look on and do nothing.
Please note these tapes are gruesome and should not be watched by children or young adults.
These are not tapes you will see at so-called interfaith gatherings or groups of high level clergy gabfests meeting in Washington DC where everybody talks pleasantries about "niceness" and "friendship".
These are brutal attacks of Christians that occur on streets far from the halls of power.

In Zanzibar, Christian girls are being kidnapped by Islamic militants and forced to convert on the Island of Zanzibar.

Remember the words of our Lord: "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account." (Matthew 5:10-11)

Christians are attacked from the outside by rival religions and atheists. We are attacked on the inside by pansexual pagan revisionsists and idolatrous word-of-faith materialism. It is gets worse as time passes. We need to ask ourselves why it's worth it, what is it about out faith in Christ that compels us to stay faithful in the withering heat of this satanic darkness. We need an answer, because this cosmic chess game is nearing check-mate.

I very strongly urge everyone on this blog to send this article to your government, and urge them to suspend all relations......including trade......with India until this situation is resolved. I did!
India needs to be put on notice that we will not tolerate this kind of thing. Cennydd |

I also believe that check mate time is coming rapidly and that we are in a satanic darkness..which is only going to get worse. We stay faithful to Christ because we know that he is the Son of God, the third person of the Trinity, was born of a virgin, was crucified for our sins, rose on the third day, sits at the right hand of God the Father, and will come again in glory. We trust Him, we love Him and believe with every breath we take, and every beat of our heart that He loves us, and because of our faith and trust in Him, He will save us from the fires of Hell and will reign forever and ever. The Bible says that there will always be a remnant of believers, we are it.

I believe that Girt Wilder of the Netherlands is a Catholic. He is like a Paul Revere signaling the coming conflict. Many Christians want to play nice but that is iffy at best when faced with Muslim and Hindu fanatics who will discuss your future after you are dead. It is also iffy when you are faced with poison from within that weakens core beliefs and the will of the faithful.

Science teaches us that these killings are natural selection working itself out in life. There was a reason that Christians worshiped in catacombs before Constantine. It was only when Christians took control of events that surrounded them that they were allowed out of the catacombs. " Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it." George Santayana

No catacombs for me!
And I meant every word of what I said in my previous post. Cennydd |

Some attacks on Christians are motivated by envy since Christians in India are often more prosperous than other groups since they do not feel bound by the caste system.
The recent attacks on Christians in Jos are motivated more by conflict of interests between pastoralists and town-dwellers. See this report: http://college-ethics.blogspot.com/2010/03/religious-and-social-factors-in-nigeria.html Regardless of the motivation, attacks on Christians delight the Enemy who failed to strike down our Leader at Calvary. |

You don't have to go far to feel venom from anti-Christians. Just read the comments at Canada's www.cbc.ca and you'll see some really nasty stuff.
There needs to be more Christians commenting on that news website and challenging the nastiness. |

I lived in India for over ten year beginning in 1994. I had business dealings and travelled extensively in many countries such as India, Pakistan, Thailand, Bangladesh, Indonesia, UAE, China, Russia and others. The persecution of Christians is nothing new. I knew personally at least one missionary who was martyred in India. I know another missionary who has had his school buildings burned rather frequently. The Hindu religion IS India. It is inseperable from the society. Certain groups such as the RSS and VHP (ultranationalist Hindu groups) actively promote intolerance and have for decades. At least one former Prime Minister was an RSS member. "Conversion" (Hindu to Christian) is a hot button issue. Most of the overt hostility, however, is in very rural areas (which describes Orissa). Governmental sanctions will not impact these areas nor will they do anything to change the attitude of the central government.
In Pakistan you deal with Islam at its ugliest level. The Koran commands that non-believers either be taxed or killed. They, in their minds, are only being "faithful". In Bhuddist Thailand, there is an underlying ugly streak with regard to anything other than their traditions. As peaceful as it may seem, violence is never too far below the surface. Indonesia is dangerous period. Personally I avoided the place if at all possible. Missionary work in these areas is unfailingly dangerous. I never felt threatened because I was a Christian but I did realize that attacking the prevailing faith in any manner was not a very good idea. |

For what it's worth, I sent an email to Senator Barbara Boxer alerting her to this situation (which I'm sure she knew about), and all I received in reply was the standard form letter from her office over her signature, saying "thank you for contacting me," but making no mention of the reason I wrote to her.
Just thought I'd let you all know that this is what you can expect from most of our senators these days, it seems. Cennydd |
