The Standing Committee of the Diocese of Los Angeles reported March 3 that within the last 57 days it has received 55 of the majority of 56 consents needed to the Dec. 5 election of the Rev. Canon Mary Glasspool as a bishop suffragan of the Diocese of Los Angeles.
Concurrently, the receipt of necessary consents from bishops with jurisdiction continues in New York in the presiding bishop's office, which will advise the Diocese of Los Angeles after the requisite majority of bishops' votes is received and verified.
Standing Committee consents received by the Diocese of Los Angeles also require verification by the presiding bishop's office in order to be declared official.

What is truly amazing about all of this is how a decent, moral and freedom loving American people can be led to depravity in about half a century. We are on the precipice of socialistic slavery and the associated devaluation of human life.

Dear warmac9999 - with due respect read your New Testament again. It is all a piece of the end times.

And...warmac9999,
Consider if you will, the moral enslipment of the Netherlands, as merely one example of Christian faithfulness gone bye-bye. |

So who will cast the final vote (#56) that will finally rip apart the Episcopal Church? Go ahead history wants to give you 15 minutes of fame for destroying a once proud, vibrant and God loving church. Go ahead, your prize will be 30 pieces of silver. Who will it be?

Think about what you are saying, cradle...
EVERY consent is culpable, not just one! |

You are very wise. Yes, in a sense every consent will be the 56th vote. They all need to share the 30 pieces of silver. Cradle |

If there are any orthodox priests or laypersons left in the TEC Los Angeles Diocese, they may want to consider whether continuing to live in Sodom is a wise thing to do.

Something's wrong with the news article title. It should read Lesbian bishop-elect Glasspool.....
Now we don't elect anyone to be lesbian, do we? It's the woman concerned who elects to be lesbian which in this moral relativistic age, is a matter of personal choice! ![]() |
