ERIE, PA: Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit to close

The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit in Erie, PA closed its doors this past week, with no fanfare or public announcement by Bishop Sean W. Rowe, Episcopal Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania or its outgoing vicar The Rev. Rebecca H. Lash.

"Sunday, February 10 is our last day of worship at our church at 501 West 31st Street. From this point on, we will be worshiping with the congregation of Saint Mark's Episcopal Church at 4701 Old French Road," said a terse statement at the church's website.

"For at least the next few months, we will continue to distribute groceries from our food pantry at 501 West 31st Street."
